  • 3rd: $1.50

Position Summary:

To provide administrative support to plant management and supervision through data entry/tracking and reception duties.

Shift Times: This is a 1st shift position (hours may vary +/- based on employee event needs):

Schedule Days: Monday - Friday

Time: 8:30am - 4:30pm

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Track daily attendance for all hourly union employees and document points based on the Attendance Policy and the schedule provided by Production Supervisors/Managers.
  • Administer Uniform, Parking and Locker Program.
  • Support Finance Department by 1- attaching invoices in JDE to payment batches, 2- distribution ebill invoices electronically to AP processors, 3- scan receving reports and saving into the shared folder.
  • 'Perform receptionist and screening responsibilities; visitor & vendor scheduling; calendar & expense management.
  • Support HR Team with event planning/catering, new hire packets & check in process, and various reporting/tracking.
  • Create Purchase Orders for various Sanitation, Production & Office Supplies, Amazon orders/deliveries.
  • Other Duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 1 year of experience in a food manufacturing environment preferred.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Knowledge of facility's products, equipment, packaging, and capacity is essential. Use of mathematical concepts for needed calculations and projections.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal form using electronic media, telephone and direct contact with internal and external personnel.
  • Operate standard office equipment and demonstrate competency in the use of standard software applications.
  • Must possess good reading, math, and computer skills to accurately perform the requirements of the job. Must have good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Must work on multiple tasks concurrently and be able to organize.
  • Must have good communication skills and be able to work with people to help as needed.


Physical Demands:

Regularly requires intermittent sitting, standing, walking, climbing, squatting, kneeling, pushing, and pulling. Physical strength and dexterity sufficient to perform the required task(s). Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds or more with assistance. Additional demands may be required.


Work Environment:

In addition to normal business hours, work schedules may include after hours and weekends as needed. May work outside and in adverse temperatures which include extreme hot, cold, and humidity. May be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals and vibration. Must be willing and able to wear personal protective equipment as required by established Company Safety standards. May require work in confined and dark spaces, and at heights in excess of 18 feet for prolonged periods of time.
